It looks like spring is finally here and we are ready for it! Tons of veggies and flowers are being delivered to the local garden shops.

It probably goes without saying that we're all ready for spring now. It looks like we're finally done with our last frost and it also looks like we have some warmer, sunnier weather ahead of us. There's still a lot of time to plant and enjoy your favorite flowers, or try something new.

Another favorite of ours that doesn't bloom in the packs is Didiscus or Lace Flower. This 2-3 foot tall charmer has fern like foliage and the mix features white, blue and pink flowers. Lovely in the garden and in bouquets, try some this year!

Most of our top sellers, like violas and lobelia, bloom in the packs, but we want to highlight some of the flowers that only bloom in your garden because they get so tall. Starting off the series is my (Katie's) personal favorite, "Pacific Giants" delphinium. One of the only flowers that comes in various shades of true blue, growing as tall as you, with flowers that can be a bouquet of one, and a favorite of the bees. Try something new and spectacular this year!

Beautiful basil! We carry the classic Italian sweet, Genovese (pictured here), Greek and Thai. Try Greek basil in a pot on the porch if you have trouble growing the Italian types in the cool summers of the coast.
