- 🎟️ **Wristband Pickup & Registration:** Begins at 10:00 AM at the event entrance. Stop by to pick up your pre-registered wristband or register in person!

- ✅ **Clear Bag Policy:** This is a clear bag event.
- 🚫 **No Outside Food or Beverages**
- 🚫 **No Outside Water Bottles**

Alumni Hooked on Giving Back 🐟🎒

Craig Heberer (’89, Fisheries Biology), David Itano (’79, Fisheries Biology), and Glenn Itano (’77, Fisheries Biology) founded the Humboldt Fishin' Lumberjacks. Their 25-250 Challenge aims to grow the Roelofs Fisheries Endowed Award to $250,000 to support graduate student research.

The Humboldt Fishin' Lumberjacks, a group made up of Humboldt Fisheries alumni, have spent the last 25 years building friendships on the water. Now, they're working to build something even more timeless and enduring.

From Humboldt classrooms to housing policy, Maeve Talamantes (’17, Political Science) has dedicated her career to advancing housing justice, strengthening communities, and supporting people experiencing housing insecurity 🏠

As a Policy Analyst II for the City of Oakland, Maeve helps develop programs, manage critical funding, and ensure resources are distributed equitably to residents facing homelessness and housing instability. Her work in local government, nonprofit organizations, and community-based services has helped individuals and families access essential support and build pathways toward long-term housing stability.

We’re proud to honor Maeve as a 2026 Distinguished Alum 🌲
