Tomorrow is the reunion! I’m looking forward to seeing you all there, it should be fun! if anyone is able to make it to the mixer tonight, Jeff Mielke will be hosting it at the Humboldt Social Club starting at 630. Can’t wait to see you all tomorrow at the Crabs ballpark in Arcata!

Hey all. We were able to reserve the picnic area in right field of the Arcata Ballpark for a Crabs game for the reunion. The only Saturday game that was available is June 18th. I know it’s pretty short notice but hopefully most of us will be able to make it.

Hey everyone this is Jeremy Ramer. We’ve decided that our 20 year reunion is too important to pass up! With the help of Eric Giacone, we are trying to reserve the right field bleachers and picnic area at the Arcata Ballpark for a Saturday evening Crabs game. Admission into the game would be $10 per person and we would provide food and non alcoholic drinks. Beer and wine would be available to purchase through the concession stand at the park. The Friday before the reunion I’m hoping to get as many of us as possible together at the Humboldt Bay Social Club for an icebreaker. As soon as we find a date I will let you all know. Any thoughts or suggestions would be very appreciated! Hope to see you all in a couple months, it’s been far too long! Please share this with any 2002 alum not on Facebook and invite anyone who isn’t currently following the page.

Hey ‘02 Loggers.
Shelby Howard here 👋.
I’ve seen a couple reunion location suggestions here but it doesn’t look like anyone is able to take on the planning. Even for a low key meet up, there’s a need for someone, ideally a few people, to do some basic planning and communicating. Since it looks like no one is able to take that on it seems like a reunion won’t happen this year.
If there are some people who want to take it on, you could pick a date in August or September and still have time to make it happen. Otherwise, a group might want to form and create a 25 year reunion instead. I would recommend a group of at least 3-5 people to plan an event as doing it solo was a heavy lift, and that was with Angela coming in at the final stretch for the 10 year planning.

I’m able to give moderator access on this page to anyone who wants to take on future planning and communication, just like I did with Angela. I put my time in for the 10 year reunion and won’t be doing any further planning 😊 so happy to pass this page over to anyone willing.

Hey Logger Alumni,

It sounds like Angela is no longer available to take lead on planning a 20 year reunion. I just became aware of that via chat on the last posts here, so I don’t have any more information than that.

If anyone is interested in taking the reigns, you are very welcome to do so. Unfortunately I don’t know if there was any progress made in planning already, related to location or anything, so it would require starting from scratch for anyone to take it on. Maybe a park daytime meet up is most realistic at this point.

I’m happy to collaborate, but can’t take lead in any planning. Feel free to message me directly or post here.
