Today’s the day! With National Coming Out Day upon us, we wanted to pay homage to the q***r people who made days like this possible. (No, not Ronald Reagan)

Scattered around campus you will see 9 bricks featuring different pride flags. Each brick is meant to symbolize Stonewall- the riot that began the equal rights movement for the LGBTQ+ community in 1969.

Whether you’re out of the closet or in, please join us in remembering the people who fought for our ability to be who we are.

Hello EC friends! Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, we would love to see you put your talents to use for the National Coming Out Day button contest! All you need to do is create a pride themed design to fit a 2.5x2.5 inch round button. The deadline for all submissions is September 15th- let’s come together for coming out! 🏳️‍🌈
