What a great day at the Girls Investing in Girls event through the Women’s Fund ! We learned about non-profit organizations, service, leadership, and philanthropy — promoting the welfare of others through generous donations to good causes. We learned that generosity does not always mean giving money; instead, we can offer our time, talents, and treasures to causes that we are passionate about. We also learned what it looks like to review and select grant recipients. These students participated in a real grant process today and ultimately selected a group to receive a $5,000 grant! It was an interesting and inspiring day — that had to be concluded with a coffee run to ! 😊 ☕️

Today was our College & Career Fair at EHS! With around 50 colleges, local businesses, and military branches in attendance, our students were able to talk with a variety of people and learn about different future opportunities. Thank you to everyone who was a part!

And congrats to Laurel Munson, who won the $250 Amazon gift card! 🏆

For students who are interested in career fields like welding, medical assisting, HVAC/R-MAR tech, dental assistants, professional truck driving, cosmetology, medical coding specialists, massage therapy, CDL training, phlebotomy, and basic nursing assisting.
