Divisions:
1. 9th – 12th grade, excluding DE students
2. Currently enrolled LSUE students, including dual enrollment and Academy students

Categories:
Essay – 800-1,000 words
Art – Drawings or Paintings

To enter, submit a high-quality digital image of the artwork or essay to Dr. Billy Fontenot at [email protected] by Friday, October 30th. Finalists may be invited to present their art or essays to the judging committee. Winners will be announced by November 11th.

You are invited to “Is It Complicated or Coercive Control?” on Thursday, October 1, from noon to 1 p.m. It starts the LSU system's kick off to Domestic Violence Awareness Month. It is a virtual program open to students and all members of our campus community.

Thecia Jenkins, a violence prevention and emotional intelligence expert, will lead a conversation about recognizing warning signs, taking action and strengthening communities of care. The session will focus on student and campus safety.

It was a fiesta on campus this Wednesday as LSU Eunice celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month. Our LSUE family enjoyed the rich flavors and culture of Hispanic and Latin American communities. A special thanks to the volunteers and Campus Activities Board that put on the event.

Surgical Technology hosted Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) students today for inter-professional collaboration. The Surgical Tech students taught DMS sterile techniques. DMS and Surgical Tech students worked together practicing sterile ultrasound probe covering.
