Today, we gathered for our end of year party, and none of it happens without the people who make it happen quietly. Our Sunshine Committee doesn’t do this work for the applause or the recognition, and honestly, most of them would prefer you didn’t make a big deal about it at all. They move in the background, planning and preparing and pulling things together while the rest of us are heads-down doing the daily work of this school.
But we have to say it here at Treetops: we are genuinely fortunate. This is a small but mighty team, and they continue to pull off the most spectacular of treats for our school community, year after year, without fail. We see you. We appreciate you more than these words can hold.

🌱 From Seed to Canopy! 🌱
On Saturday, May 16th, our campus was alive with purpose as we planted our new Edible Garden and native plants to mitigate erosion and support our local pollinators!
This incredible day was made possible through our collaboration with GROW North Texas, Giving Grove, and One Earth One Chance, thanks to a grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
Seeing our community come together was nothing short of inspiring. We had a massive turnout of faculty, current students and families, our incoming Treetops families, and Treetops Alumni! A huge shoutout to Scout Troops 328 and 509, as well as the incredible team from Accenture for their massive support.
We'd also be remiss if we didn't acknowledge our photographer, who is a Treetops Parent (who wishes to remain anonymous) who gave of their Saturday morning to come out and capture these amazing pictures! We are so grateful!
While the beauty of the day is clear, this was part of a longer journey that began back in 2024. Building this amazing network took time, and it perfectly reflects two pillars of our strategic plan: Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement.
We are so proud of our school and deeply grateful to everyone who pours into our community.
To our students, remember this lesson: people who don't even know you thought enough about your future to give of their time, talent, and treasure. Service to others is incredibly powerful.

Our Pre-K & Kinder Preview Night was a success — and it started with our teachers. After a full day of work, they stayed, they set up, and they made every new family feel right at home. That’s who they are. We are grateful.
Tomorrow we keep it going.
