The PTA at Bear Creek Elementary School is a vibrant part of the school community, located in the beautiful city of Euless, Texas, which is in the heart of the metropolis of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. We are in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District and are part of the district's Council of PTAs (http://www.gcisdcouncilofptas.org/about-us/texas-pta). As a PTA, our mission is to be a

powerful voice for all children; a relevant resource for families and communities; and a strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child. Our purposes include:

• We promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.

• We are committed to helping raise the standards of home life.

• We work to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

• We strive to bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

• We want to develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

We had our last general meeting today and celebrated some of the amazing sponsors, volunteers and staff. These people continue to show up for our community and serve our kids and we are so grateful for them!
