❤️ Anyone can join! Parents, caregivers, grandparents, students, teachers, staff, and community members! That’s right, you do not have to have a student at the school to join PTA.

⏰ You do not have to volunteer if you join PTA - but we’d love to have you for those of you interested in giving back with your time.

💰 The PTA helps fund field trips, class parties, provides a spirit shirt to every student, supports the teachers, and hosts events such as Harvest Festival and Chili Cook Off. Your membership fee of $10 helps make this possible!

🗓️ Memberships expire on July 31st every year. If you joined last year, it’s time to join again!

Your students will have a chance to see the school, meet teachers and staff and some new friends! Please stop by our PTA tables and learn how you can get connected and involved at Lakewood! Elementary Meet the Teacher Night is Monday, August 10, 2026, at each HEB ISD elementary school, 5:30 pm- 6:30 pm. (Junior high & high school families should watch for separate back-to-school information shared by their student’s school.)

HEB ISD elementary school parents/guardians and their students are invited to bring their students' school supplies and meet their students' teacher. We're excited to welcome you back!

In past years, teacher/student lists would usually be posted at the schools around 4 pm before Meet the Teacher Night. This year, we are planning to share this information online: after 4 pm on Monday, log in to Skyward Family Access and check your student's profile for their teacher's name. (Checking online before you arrive will save you time, but we will also help families who aren't able to check online.)
