Looking for a summer course that fulfills a requirement? Consider Global Studies (GLBL) 101: Introduction to Global Issues and Solutions during Summer Session 2 (July 20–August 14). This course takes a solutions-oriented approach to topics that directly connect with many fields. Students will explore climate and economic justice, food sovereignty, agroecology, migration, decolonization, and innovative educational/health models like the Zapatistas in Mexico, Kerala in India, and Cuba. We are making some changes to Community Culture Dinner and our Cultural Workshop tomorrow Thursday 5/21. We will be hosting the Wrap Beaded Keychain Workshop with NASU Alum Kaitlynn Spino starting at 4:00pm at the Many Nations Longhouse we will serve a lite meal. We will host circle up at 5:30pm and encourage guest to attend the Traditional Foods Dinner with Native Youth Wellness at 6:00pm (held at LCC’s Longhouse).
