Next week, Lane Arts Council Teaching Artist Andrea DiPalma Yansane brings her Creativity through Clay residency to Howard Elementary School - Eugene 4J! 🐯🎨 Over the course of four sessions, students will create 3-dimensional animal portraits to last a lifetime. Students will produce either a glazed and fired ceramic animal face, finger puppet, or miniature sculpture.

Today, the well-loved Lane Arts Council Teaching Artist Kelly Thibodeaux brings his Art of Fiddling and the Mystique of Louisiana to Holt Elementary School! 🎻🐊 Over the course of four sessions, students learn how to play the fiddle (violin) and acquire enough skills to perform in a culminating recital!

Next week, Lane Arts Council Teaching Artist Victoria Wills begins her Claymation Lab Residency at Adams Elementary School! πŸ“ΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

Over the course of four sessions, students will create stories to tell with clay figures, set up desk top animation studios by making backdrops and props that they design, and generate stop motion animated videos using teamwork skills, modeling clay, animation software and iPads. The Claymation videos students create which can be shared as a final film festival in class as well as accessed online.
