Hey UO NAfME! It’s that time of the year again! This fall term, we will have meetings at 6 pm every other TUESDAY on even-weeks, starting in week 2! We are SO excited for this new year to start, see you all at SOMD in room 142!

We are so excited to announce that this past June, UO cNAfME President, Ellie Auvinen, attended NAfME Hill Day and the NAfME Collegiate Leadership Advocacy Summit in Washington DC. She was also recently elected as the Collegiate Representative on the Oregon Music Educators Association board, AND was one of six collegiate members in the state to receive the NAfME Collegiate Professional Achievement Award for 2024-2025! At the summit, she worked with other members of the OMEA board to further develop music education initiatives in Oregon, spoke to state representatives and legislators advocating for music education funding and protection, and collaborated with various collegiate and professional music educations across the U.S. to strengthen institutional bonds and promote intercollegiate participation in music education. We are so proud of you Ellie!
