We are so very grateful to our United Way of Lane County volunteers! This morning folks from Lane County Developmental Disabilities Services, Arnold Gallagher Attorneys at Law, Pacific Cascade Federal Credit Union and Oregon Pacific Bank joined us to create art projects for incoming kindergartners across Lane County. We could not do this without these wonderful volunteers. Thank you so much!!!

We were delighted to be able to attend United Way of Lane County's Annual Community Breakfast last week! It is always inspiring to hear what this organization is doing around the county to help all of our residents. We are deeply grateful for the support that UWLC has given the KITS Program to help us grow and be able to serve 400+ new kindergarteners each summer. This support has been fundamental in allowing us to help Lane County's children and their families be ready to thrive in kindergarten.

And if you are looking for fun activities for Sept. 25 & 26th, take a look at all of the opportunities for this year's Day of Caring on their website!

KITS has a few volunteer opportunities still available for the 2025 Days of Caring on Thursday, September 25. We'd love to see you!! Or sign up for one of these other great opportunities!

Our annual Day of Caring connects over 900 volunteers with nonprofits across the county. This year we have reimagined this event as DAYS of Caring, with smaller groups doing volunteer projects over three days, to make an even greater impact while ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved.

Nonprofit agencies can now register their volunteer projects! Learn more at volunteeruwlane.org/doc.
