CDS is proud to celebrate our graduates at the University of Oregon’s Lavender Ceremony, including CDS master’s graduate Tea Mercer. 🌈
The Lavender Ceremony recognizes and honors the achievements, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQIA+ students as they reach this important milestone. We are grateful for the authenticity, compassion, and leadership our students bring to our department and to the future of our profession.
Congratulations to Tea and to all of the graduates recognized at this year’s ceremony. We can’t wait to see the impact you will make in the communities you serve. 💚💛

We had a fantastic time at the UO Undergraduate Research Symposium! We were so inspired to hear the work from all of our CDS students and students working with CDS faculty. And a special congratulations to Dr. Samantha Shune who was recognized with the 2026 Faculty Research Mentor Award.
