LGBTESS stands for Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Education and Support Services. We are a department within the Dean of Students whose mission is to support 2SLGBTQIA3+ students at UO.

🎓🎓Happy Graduation, Lavender Graduates, to everyone who came and those who were unable to attend. We celebrate all of you and your identities! 🎉🎉
This year’s Lavender Graduation was the biggest in the history of University of Oregon. Hearing the accomplishments of our amazing 2SLGBTQIA3+ graduates and heartfelt speeches from their partners, their colleagues, and their peers was incredible.
Thank you to these graduates and those who support them. We wish you well now and into the future!

The screening will be on June 6 at the Broadway Metro Theater at 2:45pm (doors will open at 2:25pm). The address is 888 Willamette St, Eugene, OR 97401. The date of the ceremony is Friday June 16th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. PST in the EMU Ballroom for our 2023 Lavender Graduation to celebrate the accomplishments, education, perseverance, resilience, leadership, and advocacy of UO LGBTQIA+ graduate and undergraduate students!

🦋🌈The Oregon Student Equal Rights Association () are holding a symposium on Our Right to CARE: Community, Autonomy, Rest, and Empowerment. It will be this Sunday (May 21st) from 9:00AM to 6:00PM at Redwood Auditorium at University of Oregon and it’s free for all students in Oregon.
Join LGBT+ students and allies from across Oregon for a day of engaging workshops, a keynote speaker, a drag show, and free food. The goal of this symposium is to build the community of LGBTQIA+ Oregon college students and teach them skills to advocate for themselves and their community.
