Managing w**ds in home gardens can be a challenge, especially when w**ds have already become established. This workshop will cover what makes a plant a w**d and general w**d management strategies for home gardeners. Participants will learn how to identify and manage about ten of the most common and threatening types of w**ds that occur in the Florence area. We will focus on w**ds that are actively growing at this time of year.

For many teens, 4-H Summer Conference is the highlight of their summer! Summer Conference is a statewide event for teens 7th โ€“ 12th grade to stay on OSU campus, take hands-on classes, and meet youth from all over Oregon. You donโ€™t have to be in 4-H to join this event, so bring all your friends! Teen participants get to stay in dorms on campus, take classes that spark their interest, hear from a national keynote speaker, experience fun campus amenities and activities, and experience 4-H at a statewide level.

Registration closes June 1! Register online at https://beav.es/fhs

We still have a few scholarships available for Lane County youth! Please email [email protected] to receive the scholarship code for $100 off your registration!
