UO Bean East Hall

Bean East is closed for the 2018-2019 Academic Year for renovation. Here is what the new rooms will look like:

Each day the Bean East remodel gets a little closer.

Please join members of University Housing and Fortis Construction, the contractor working on the Bean Hall renovation, for a town hall meeting tonight, at 7 p.m. in the Bean East Conference Room on the first floor of Wilcox.

We want to hear about your experience living in Bean East during the renovation of Bean West. What is not working? What is working? What can we do to improve? Please come and give us input about your experience.

If you are unable to attend the town hall meeting tomorrow but would like to provide us with input please email [email protected] with questions and suggestions.

Steam will be shut off in Bean East tomorrow, Friday,October 6, starting at 10 AM and ending at 4 PM.

Steam is how the hot water in the hot water tanks is heated, but the water in the tanks will usually stay warm for around 2 hours after the steam is shut off.
