Founded in 1994, Oak Hill School offers instruction to grades PK-8. Mountain Rose Herbs is bringing RootsTalk to Oak Hill on Saturday, August 22nd from 10am–4pm, a free, full-day event exploring herbalism through the senses. Three speakers, hands-on workshops, and 72 acres of wooded Eugene campus to explore.

The Trojan family has been with Oak Hill since their kids were in elementary school. Now some are alumni, some are still here.

When we asked what keeps them, they said: "It's a warm place where everybody knows the kids. No one gets lost academically or socially."

We hear versions of this story again and again. It's not something we designed — it's something this community built.

Big confidence can come in very small voices and these Kindergarteners prove it every single time.

At Oak Hill, public speaking isn't something students do once and move on from. It's a specialist class from Kindergarten through 8th grade. By the time they leave us, standing up and saying what they mean feels like second nature.

We are so proud of these young speakers.
