Casey is a lifelong musician from the California redwoods.  Classically trained in violin and voice, she is experienced in an eclectic array of styles (including classical, fiddle, pop, blues,improvisation.) She has 25 years of experience playing and singing with orchestras, symphonies, quartets, jazz ensembles, rock groups, singer/songwriters, choirs, etc. She has been teaching violin since 2003 and tailors her lessons to each students’ individual interests.

Welcome to the studio, Megann Dawe! Megann holds a Bachelor of Music in violin performance and violin pedagogy. Megann's goal is to help all her students achieve excellence in music while discovering for themselves how rewarding it can be. I believe music study is essential for learning skills applicable to all aspects of life, such as perseverance, creativity, organization, communication, collaboration with others, and many more. It is her hope that she can help guide her students towards these areas while experiencing the joy music can bring.

We've got some of the most amazing musicians! Just wanted to share what one of our piano teachers, Nick Rieser, is up to!

Harmony Roadhouse Music Studios is excited to add Doug Fleener to our teacher roster! Doug is a nationally recognized contest fiddler and musician. He holds a bachelor's degree of music from Belmont University of Nashville, holds numerous state and national fiddle contest titles, and has been regularly performing in bands in the Portland area for the last 4 to 5 years. Doug teaches beginner to expert level fiddling and violin lessons, beginning to expert mandolin, and beginning guitar lessons. Having studied under the greatest musicians in the Nashville area, he is an excellent source for knowledge in music theory, improvisation, and how to find your way in the world as a musician.
