Bushnell University Alumni

You're invited to our upcoming Venture Forward Capital Campaign Celebration. We are hosting a community reception on Saturday, October 19th, at 7pm, at Venue 252 (252 Lawrence St., Eugene OR) to celebrate the successful completion of the Venture Forward Campaign.

There will be dessert, a short program, and an opportunity to connect and spend time together. We will also have the joy of listening to a performance by the Bushnell Choir. This event is part of our Founders Day Weekend Celebrations, where we honor our namesake, James A. Bushnell. The reception is free to attend, though RSVP is requested.

This Saturday for one night only! Bring your family and friends to this special experience at First Baptist Church of Eugene!

The University Choir, Instrumental Ensemble, Chamber Ensemble, and Bushnell Chorale will perform a diverse collection of music from around the world including sacred gospel, American folk, African, Hispanic, and European languages and sounds!

Happy (almost) new year, everyone! 2022 is coming to a close; make a gift to the Beacon Fund for Student Scholarships before December 31st. Gifts to the university are tax-deductible, and make a difference in the lives of our students!

Today we celebrate our winter commencement and welcome 92 graduates to our Bushnell alumni family. 50 of them are graduating with baccalaureate degrees and 42 are graduating with a masters degree. Dr. Reed Mueller, Vice President for Academic Affairs will be giving the commencement address. The first cohort of ten Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) students will receive their diplomas after having spent a full year in intensive course work and skills training. These students have benefitted from the Nursing Skills Practice Lab located in Womack Hall.

Congrats Beacons!

A week ago the Bushnell community gathered to attend the annual Winter Concert in support of Bushnell's School of Music & Performing Arts. It was an evening of joy, beautiful music, and remembrance of the hope we have in Christ.

Keep an eye out for announcements of the Spring concert next year, you won't want to miss it!
