What a sweet morning! ☕️❤️ Thank you to all the parents (and grandparents) who joined us for our very first Coffee & Prayer meetup! It was such a blessing to spend time together, connect, and pray for our kids and families.

If you still need a copy of Capable, let me know! It’s a great book about raising confident, resilient kids who know their worth and are equipped to navigate the world with faith and purpose.

☕🙏 Reminder: Coffee & Prayer is TOMORROW! ❤️

Parents, we’d love for you to stick around after drop-off tomorrow morning for our very first Coffee & Prayer morning!

Join us for a hot cup of coffee, some breakfast treats, and a chance to meet and connect with other GCP & K parents. We’ll also spend a few minutes talking about the book we’re giving away, Capable Child by Sissy Goff, and why we think it’s such an encouraging and practical read for parents.

This morning is completely free—it’s simply our way of creating space to connect with you, encourage you, and support you in the beautiful (and sometimes challenging!) season of parenting. ❤️

🍎🍂 Fall Fun at GCP & K! 🍂🍎

There’s something so special about experiencing the seasons through the eyes of a child! Our classrooms have been soaking up all things fall and apples with special crafts, painting, tasting, making applesauce, exploring, and plenty of hands-on fun. 🍎🎨

From creating beautiful fall art to tasting different apple treats and learning about the sights, smells, colors, and flavors of the season, our kiddos have been having the BEST time!

We love finding ways to turn everyday moments into opportunities for learning and wonder. ❤️ There’s just something magical about slowing down and enjoying the simple things—crunchy leaves, colorful trees, pumpkins (coming in just a few weeks!!), apples, and lots of messy little hands!

We’re so thankful for the joy and curiosity our kids bring to every season. 🍁 What a gift it is to learn, play, and discover together! 🍎✨

📖❤️ Our First Chapel Day! 🎶🙏

Today we celebrated our very first chapel day at Grace Community Preschool & Kindergarten with all the classes! The kids did such a wonderful job singing worship songs together and learning about why the Bible is so important and how it helps us learn more about God and His love for us. ❤️

I showed them my old, weathered Bible and how important it has been to me over the years. I then sent our little ones home with a special assignment this week: spend some time reading the Bible together as a family! 📖✨ Whether it’s five minutes before bed, a short Bible story at breakfast, or a few moments together throughout the week, every minute spent in God’s Word with your children is an opportunity to plant seeds of faith that can grow for a lifetime.

You don’t have to make it complicated or lengthy. Just open the Bible, read a story, talk about what you learned, and remind your little ones how much God loves them. These small, intentional moments can make a lasting impact on their hearts! 💛

We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with our families as we help our children grow not only academically and socially, but also in their faith. What a joy it is to learn about Jesus together! 🙌

☕ Coffee & Prayer Parent Meetup! 🙏

Join us Tuesday, October 13th from 9:10–9:40 AM, right after drop-off in the main foyer at Grace!

Stick around for a few minutes to meet other parents, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and some breakfast, and spend a little time connecting and praying together.

We’ll also be giving away a FREE copy of Sissy Goff’s The Capable Child to each parent who RSVPs! 📖

We’ll be talking about how we can help our children become more confident, capable, and independent—while learning when to step in, when to step back, and how to support our kids through struggles, mistakes, and big feelings. It’s a great opportunity to encourage one another and walk away with a few practical ideas to try at home.

🥪 LUNCH BUDDIES STARTS OCTOBER 5!
Our Monday and Wednesday kiddos can stay an extra hour for lunch with us from 12:00–1:00 PM. It’s such a fun opportunity for our kiddos to enjoy lunch with friends and practice their lunch-at-school skills!

☕️ COFFEE & PRAYER — OCTOBER 13
Parents, stick around after drop-off from 9:10–9:40 AM for coffee, breakfast, encouragement, and prayer! For our first gathering, everyone who attends will receive a free copy of “Capable” by Sissy Goff and David Thomas. Please RSVP so we can make sure we have a book for you!

One of our favorite parts of preschool is watching friendships begin to grow. For some of our kiddos, these may be the very first new friends they’re making all on their own—and learning how to make friends, share, take turns, include others, work through little disagreements, and care for one another are such important parts of growing up.

We love watching those little friendships develop throughout the day… the giggles at recess, sitting next to a new friend at snack, helping each other with a project, and finding someone to play with.

These may seem like small moments, but they are BIG steps for our little ones. We’re so thankful for the sweet community they’re building together!

Here’s to another wonderful week of learning, growing, playing, and making new friends! 🥰

🎉 GCP&K was REPRESENTING BIG TIME at Fall Fest today! 🎉

We loved seeing so many of our GCP&K families out enjoying the fun and celebrating our amazing community!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Cori, Ms. Rachiel, and Mrs. Prahl for joining in on the fun and representing GCP&K so well! And a big thank you to all of our GCP&K families who came out today—we loved seeing you!

🎉 FIRST DAY FUN WAS HAD ALL AROUND! 🎉

What a FUN first day at Grace Community Preschool & Kindergarten! Our classrooms were full of smiles, laughter, creativity, and lots of learning!

From playing with homemade play dough with a hidden color reveal in Mrs. Christy’s class, to Pete the Cat’s first-day-of-school pictures in Mrs. Cori’s class, to learning to write their names in Mrs. Prahl’s class, to making homemade play dough in Miss Amanda’s class—we had so much fun kicking off the school year! 💕

We are SO excited for a fun year filled with learning, growing, friendships, and lots of wonderful memories. The first day was the perfect way to kick things off in style! 📚✨

Here’s to an AMAZING year, GCP&K! We’re just getting started! 🎉❤️
