This is my love letter to all those of you who love the Amazon Rainforest-

To those who see and do things differently. I am writing to all the odd ducks, mavericks and dreamers who choose to do good…

I am writing to all the helpers, the good neighbors, the salt of the earth folks, artists and creators and counselors, doctors and true friends who hold onto faith that defies all the Tipping Points and who are utterly a part of LOVE in all its wonders. To all my beloved families and all the children over all these years that I taught and cared for.

To the courageous and industrious who lead their companies in good faith… To those who choose to create green sustainable models no matter what it takes…

I am writing to those who believe in the infinite potential of what is still possible. The ones who tend their gardens while cherishing the weeds as they smile up at the sky. To all those who know that together we can still make a more beautiful world…

You know who you are… you are the ones who still hear the singing of the stars.

I am writing to you so we can continue doing all we can so the Amazon Rainforest does not go extinct. So that ancient indigenous wisdom, which held true for millennia, is recovered and guides us all back to deep, reverent, living connection to the beauty and divine order of the wildness of the natural world.

We need your support today, on this global day of generosity, to continue doing our work in the Amazon Rainforest alongside the Moseten and Tsimane indigenous peoples who have been guardians to the world's resource and well spring for a kind of wildness and wonder known nowhere else in the world.

As many of you know I have been working with the Moseten and Tsimane tribes in the Bolivian Amazon for the past several years alongside my father who began the work about 20 years ago. The name of our nonprofit is Children of the Rainforest. Our first inaugural trip to have new friends come visit the beautiful small villages of Asuncion, Corte and San Luis Grande of the Pilon Lajas biosphere reserve will occur in just 5 weeks. We are looking for just 3 or 4 more people to join our journey. My friends have been working, planning and anticipating this visit for a year. We all have. I am worried we won't be able to show up with a solid group as our marketing has been slow to get going. In the coming year I do not anticipate a problem but this first trip was a great many things being set up and put into place and now we are nearing our deadline and we need a few more people on those boats. I am still hopeful we can find those last few adventurous folks who believe in our work, want to support the Moseten and Tsimane people as they work to safeguard their home, combat climate change and work to conserve their 900 acres of Amazonian Rainforest. It is such a pivotal life experience to visit the Amazon Jungle. It is an honor and privilege to have the chance to come to meet and know the Moseten and Tsimane people. "I give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way"- for the great mystery that knows all things... for Love that can always reach beyond the known to the long beauty of all that may come through in the unknown. Their are miracles afoot.. all that was ever possible is yet possible.... I go to sleep tonight knowing that all will be well... the stars have always illuminated the darkness and we each of us shine just like that... with every day, and with every passing breath if we choose to be... we can and are truly free.
