South Eugene High School Bands

We are getting ready to start up a new school year. Our Pep Band Camp will be Aug 28,29,31 from 9am-12. We will be welcoming our incoming freshman and preparing for our first football game on Aug 31. Please come out and join us and
support music in the schools.

Come on out this Friday evening to listen to the South Eugene High School Jazz Ensemble and Combo. The concert begins at 7pm and it is free. Bring your friends and family.

Proud of the SEHS Jazz Ensemble's performance at the District 12 Jazz Fest. They are killing it this year!

Dear SEHS Band Families and Friends,

I hope you all have been enjoying this amazing weather. I wanted to remind everyone that our final concert is on the evening of June 1 at 7:00pm in the SEHS Auditorium. The Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble will all perform that evening. We will also continue our tradition featuring our seniors as they conduct the Wind Ensemble or perform chamber pieces. This has been a great year and we would love to have all of you here to experience the fruits of their labor.

Thank you to all of the students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community members who attended of our concerts last week. We had a busy week, but it was great being able to collaborate with our music department teachers to pull off our shared concerts.

Thank you to Dan Kocurek and Christine Eggert for coming out and performing for our SEHS students this morning! We would love to have you out again.

I would like to thank the Jazz Ensemble for all of their hard work preparing for the Jazz Festival last week while I was gone on leave. Their professionalism is one of the many things that make me proud of being your their teacher.

We have some exciting upcoming performances for our SEHS Bands. Our first Wind Ensemble performance will be Tuesday, November 22 at Lane Community College at 7:30 pm. Thank you to the LCC Music Faculty for inviting us to be guests at your concert. On December 8, our Concert Band and Wind Ensemble will perform at the SEHS auditorium at 7pm. Also, our Jazz Ensemble and combo will perform on December 9 at the SEHS auditorium at 7pm. Please come out and join us for some wonderful music from our SEHS ensembles.
