YLC Turns 30! In April 1991 language learning at UO took a dramatic turn for the better.

YLC turns 30 this month. Thanks to our original benefactor, Osamitsu Yamada, and all those who've studied, taught, worked and inspired us over the last three decades. Here's to the next generation!

Two years ago we were making final plans for IALLT 2019, which was one of the first big conferences held in UO's EMU. Now we're helping to plan the 2021 virtual one. It's exciting, there's going to be a lot of great presentations, and it'll let language teachers and tech folk from around the world connect again, but it sure won't be the same. 😗
