Students are encouraged to discuss, challenge, and critique information and performance by interacting with instructors, TAs, and fellow students. Students should “own” their EMT knowledge and be able to apply it to scenario situations. Beautiful night for football. Lane EMS Response has had an incredable start to the football season. Last week we had a record number of calls for service. This week was more ‘normal’ for a busy game. I’m proud to work alongside these folks as they show up and step up to serve our Oregon and visiting team fans. Go Ducks!

Pretty crazy weekend for Lane EMS Response. We supported 3 events with medical staff.
A team of 2 at the Taekwondo Tournament on campus Friday and Saturday. 7 teams of 2 at the UO Ducks Spring Game and Matt Kearney Concert on Saturday. 6 teams of 3 at the Eugene Marathon today!

Your Firefighters Are Always Ready To Serve!
Join us in recognizing Eugene Springfield Local 851 Firefighters for their quick response in aiding a young child stuck in a railing at Disney World!
While attending an international training event in Orlando, these dedicated firefighters, having completed their classes, spontaneously purchased tickets to Disney World. There, they encountered a child in distress trapped in one of the handrails. Without hesitation, our off-duty firefighters swiftly stepped in to assist, successfully freeing the child.
Thank you to our reliable firefighters for always being there when the community needs them!

Lane EMS response supported the last Rivalry game at Autzen stadium. With dozens of calls for service, these individuals responded with skill and compassion to patrons. A job well done. See you all next season!
