Public Interest Public Service (PIPS)

Public Interest Public Service (PIPS) A Proud Tradition of Service in the Public Interest The Public Interest Public Service Program (PIPS) proudly advances that tradition.

The University of Oregon School of Law community -- students, faculty, administrators, and staff alike -- shares a longstanding commitment to public service and the public interest. PIPS provides academic, volunteer, and professional opportunities that increase the legal community's understanding of the value of public interest and service work, promote involvement in public interest and service w

ork, and support members of the legal community already engaged in public interest and service work. Specifically, PIPS hosts academic lectures, symposia, and discussions, and acts as a clearinghouse for public interest and service opportunities.

The holiday of gratitude and generosity is quickly approaching!

PIPS is looking for groups of students to sign up to donate Thanksgiving baskets to families in need. There's one more week to sign up!

For the last decade, PIPS has worked with River Road Elementary School in Eugene to provide these baskets to families in need so they can have a memorable Thanksgiving holiday.

Interested in donating? Sign up today with your student group, a group of friends, or feel free to make a fabulous basket on your own! Please sign up by Monday, November 18 by 5 p.m. so we can give you information about your family. Please also include the size of your group, so PIPS can assign you an appropriately-sized family!

PIPS will be tabling on Monday, November 25 to collect your baskets!

If you're interested in signing up to donate a basket or have any questions, e-mail Erin Burris at [email protected] or Haley Rosenthal at [email protected].

Thank you in advance for your generous donations!!
