Join ASBU & your Campus Wellness Team for a little pause & grounding exercise today during Wellness Wednesday! The first 20 people will be invited to decorate a pot & leave with a plant to remind you to stay grounded in God’s love for you. Hope to see you @ 12 on the Womack Hall Patio!

UNPLUGGED DAY 5: PROGRESSIVE TAILGATER

Create some BEACON trail mix in Hutchins Hall and then make your way over to Maple Elementary for Softball at 3:00pm where we’ve got drinks, cracker jacks, & fruit snacks provided and to Hamlin Middle School for Baseball at 5:00pm where you can enjoy hot dogs and chips!

Join us throughout the month of April as we shine a light on sexual assault. Show your support for those who have experienced SA by wearing jeans & teal on Tuesdays.

*Jeans have become a symbol of SA advocacy since 1999, when a young woman was denied justice in court for her assault because she was wearing jeans when the incident occurred. As a sign of support & protest, women across the Italian Parliament wore jeans to work the next day. We continue their peaceful protest by joining in this simple act & sharing how we can prevent & recover from sexual assault.

In Chapel this week we heard from our Vice President for University Advancement, Dr. Keith Potter. May we take heart in knowing that it is in hardship and the difficult times of life that we are molded into having character like Jesus.
