In Wings of Achievement, we recognize members of our Flock who are thriving in their UO experience. Today we recognize Annie Neal, a second-year student majoring in advertising from Portland, OR.

While at UO Annie has launched her own creative brand, offering photography and social media management services. Annie's advice to fellow students is to seek out resources and support to help them find their way at UO. "I remember going into my first term and feeling really excluded and just lonely and I reached out to a UO alum, who is the president of the Black Alumni Network. And her advice to me was to ‘Get involved.’ And I'll never forget that. Getting involved and putting yourself out there is the best way to get opportunities, because people will believe in you when you start to believe in yourself first,” said Annie.

Through our Student Success programs, UO empowers students to explore their passions, embrace challenges, and chart their own paths to achievement. To meet the Flock, visit https://bit.ly/3Ua3sKP
