The Arboretum's riverside trails, quiet paths through evergreen forests, water garden teeming with life, bright wildflower meadows, and open views across oak savannas delight all ages. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm.

Fire danger remains high in the Mount Pisgah Area. Take care of this land and the life it supports by helping prevent dangerous fire. Absolutely no smoking, barbecues, fires, or fireworks. Refrain from parking on dry grass whenever possible.

Join Janet Hougardy, Arboretum Nature Guide and Ready Southeast emergency preparedness volunteer, for a Wildfire Family Tour. Throughout our walk we will visit a fire-resilient native landscape, and several fire-resistant trees. Families will take home a catalog of fire-resistant landscape plants. Children will decorate a personal go-bag, compare habitats for natural fire protection and look for the wildlife.
