ODOT Traffic Control Flagger Instructor

Teaching today... I've got the fire going, but it's 28 degrees outside and only 44 degrees in the shop. I need it to get warm really quickly! Class starts at noon!

Teaching this morning... Still a little chilly in the shop, so I built a fire. I'm hoping it doesn't get too warm because it's going to be 80° today! Drink lots of water if you're outside today & don't forget your sunscreen!!!

I have taught a 4 person class on Sunday, another 4 person class on Monday, tomorrow I have 5 people and another 4 person class on Friday... All of these classes are zoom classes...
I want to thank Lane Community College for making these zoom classes possible!

Busy week!!! In person class on Friday 02/21, online class on 02/23. Then a trip to Salem to buy textbooks, and tomorrow 02/26 I'm teaching the City of Veneta, Friday 02/28, I go to Florence to teach and then another online class on Monday 03/03.... I love what I do!!!

Busy week... 10 new flaggers on our roads! Some here in Oregon, a couple in Washington. I do love what I do! Little cold in the shop this time of year...

Merry Christmas to all! Be safe out there! Sprinkle kindness on everything, including the flaggers that seem to stop you when you're running late... They're out there in the weather keeping you and their crews safe, while putting their lives at risk!!!
