To submit your work to OURJ! We’re accepting manuscripts and art for our upcoming issue! Make sure to submit by our February 9th deadline to be included!

We’ve accumulated quite the backlog on manuscripts as of late! If we haven’t gotten to yours let, just know we are currently working through them for our Winter Issue. Thanks for waiting!

Looking for ways to publish your art? You’ve come to the right place! OURJ is currently looking for art submissions to both be featured on the cover of our issues and in the journal itself. We accept many different forms or art, including digital works or photography, physical art, drawings, paintings and more! It’s a simple process, and a great experience to get your art out there in a published journal.

The Oregon Undergraduate Research Journal (OURJ) is an open-access, multidisciplinary student journal based at the University of Oregon. Since 2010, OURJ’s biannual issues have showcased some of the best academic work by Oregon undergraduate students across all disciplines.
 
OURJ is edited and produced by an undergraduate student editorial board of peer editors. The board is composed of individuals with rich writing, editing, and research experiences who are passionate about the publication of undergraduate work, and we’d like you to join us!
 
Students who enjoy writing, copy and content editing, providing peer feedback, and showcasing excellent peer research are encouraged to apply today.

Do you have a final research paper for a class that needs that extra touch, or need help getting started? Come drop in to the DREAM Lab anytime Thursday from 6pm-8pm on both weeks 9 and 10 (3/6 and 3/13), where both writing tutors and OURJ editors will be present to help you edit and format your research-based papers. Writing tutors can help with writing flow and grammar, while OURJ editors can help ensure research structure and accuracy. Come drop in with us and gear up for final reserach paper season!
