The Oregon Undergraduate Research Journal (OURJ) is an open-access, interdisciplinary student journal at the University of Oregon.

OURJ is hiring! All undergraduates (including incoming first-year students) are welcome to apply!

The Oregon Undergraduate Research Journal (OURJ) is an open-access, multidisciplinary student journal based at the University of Oregon. Since 2010, OURJ’s biannual issues have showcased some of the best academic work by Oregon undergraduate students across all disciplines.

OURJ is edited and produced by an undergraduate student editorial board of peer editors. The board is composed of individuals with rich writing, editing, and research experiences who are passionate about the publication of undergraduate work, and we’d like you to join us!

Students who enjoy writing, copy and content editing, providing peer feedback, and showcasing excellent peer research are encouraged to apply today.

From small beginnings as an undergraduate journal founder to making waves for major companies like National Geographic and Amazon, Lucy Gubbins’ (UO ‘12) knack for research and excellence all started at the UO.

Spring is coming… and so is your chance to submit to OURJ: Oregon’s undergraduate research journal! With the school year coming to a close, now is your chance to get your hard work published with us! Getting published is an amazing opportunity for undergraduates, and we highly encourage all undergraduates to consider doing so.

Submit your creative works and/or papers by our upcoming May 1st deadline for our next issue! We can’t wait to see your submissions!
