Every year the Teaching Effectiveness Program offers teacher training to all instructors. While trainings focus on those who are teaching for the first time, we welcome any University of Oregon instructor who would benefit by attending. Sessions fill quickly so early sign up is recommended. To register, be sure to email [email protected] with your name, title and UO department, email address and the workshop you wish to attend.

Join TEP this Friday, May 17 10:00-11:30am in Knight Library, Studio A for "The Best of UO General Education: Planting the Seeds of Achievement." We will consider UO “teaching moments” that senior students say were key to their intellectual development. Then, a small panel of faculty members will discuss how they've redesigned courses to expand the range of ways students are asked to engage as thinkers, researchers, writers, and newly initiated members of a discipline.
