Our introductory Rug Tufting class is designed to introduce you to the wonderful world of rug tufting, a versatile and expressive form of textile art. Rug tufting is a textile technique that involves pushing yarn or fabric through a backing material to create patterns, textures, and designs. It’s a fascinating blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern creativity, allowing you to bring your imagination to life in the form of beautiful, tactile rugs.

This workshop is designed for beginners to gain a thorough introduction to cold process soap making, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice. You will learn how to make your own soap from animal fats such as tallow and lard. Customize your soap with your favorite essential oils, choose whether to add colorants or leave it completely natural without scent or colors.

You will be able to take home 1 pound of personalized soap at the end of the workshop, which you can cut the next day.
