2026-2027 Homeschool Class registration opens on Monday, February 23rd!
Watermark homeschool classes are a resource for homeschool families who are looking for support, guidance, and expertise in their child’s math education. Math classes meet twice a week in Eugene with homework and support online at home throughout the week. Class sizes are limited to 12 students, so sign up early to secure your spot!

How would you help this American student understand if their answer is reasonable or not?

This is one of my favorite conversations with students. Clearly, the answer is wrong (it is marked red!) but even before they entered their answer could they have known their answer was not a reasonable answer?

BONUS QUESTION: Without looking up the conversion, what is the correct answer?
