WE HAVE A FEW SPACES IN ANIMAL ADVENTURES! (Ages 4-5): Beavers and squirrels and moles, oh my! Learn about park mammals as you hunt for hidden homes, search for tracks and traces, and check out real animal pelt and bone specimens. Tell critter tales, do a Hopsticle Course, and create creature art! August 10-14th, 1-4pm, Alton Baker Park

Staff Spotlight! 🌟

We would like to highlight Lead Instructor Esmé and Teacher Intern Kate! These two bring such a special spirit to our Nearby Nature team, and have both been pivotal in making our day camps educational, creative, and fun for campers and staff alike. A tour of our beautiful home base for Nearby Nature🌱

We are so lucky to host all Nearby Nature participants in the green heart of Eugene - Alton Baker Park. By conserving and protecting this land, we are able to continue to live out our mission in fostering appreciation of nature nearby, and provide necessary tools for ecological living. 🌲

While learning about the water cycle, our Blue Heron group got crafty this week with these beautiful beaded fish keychains!🐠 🐟️

This craft was full of colors, creativity, and was something special for our campers to take home from this beautiful summer day!
