University of Oregon Women in Graduate Sciences

The WGS Outreach Committee is currently planning this year’s series of Girls’ Science Adventures and we are looking for volunteers to host workshops targeted towards elementary school-age students!

During the winter quarter, Girls Science Adventures will be taking place every Saturday at UO from February 15th through March 2nd from 9am-12pm. The science-based activities will run for about 2.5 hours with a registration cap of 20 students. If you are interested in participating, please email our Outreach Co-chair Rose Hulsey-Vincent ([email protected]), along with a quick description of the topics you will present on and the activities you will lead. Please let us know if you have a preferred date to host a Girls Science Adventures event or if you need any additional information!
