📣 Elementary BEACON Applications Open This Friday! 🎉
We are excited to announce that Elementary BEACON (PK–5) Afterschool Program applications will be available Friday, August 7th! 🍎✨
📌 Please note: Space is limited for each grade level, so we encourage families to complete the application as soon as possible.
📲 The application link will be sent through ParentSquare, so be sure to keep an eye on your notifications this Friday!

📢 BEACON Afterschool Program Update! 📢

We are currently in the process of securing staff for our upcoming BEACON Afterschool Program and are excited to get things underway!

We are hoping to have student application links available by the end of this week or the beginning of next week. This year, we will be using separate application links for our Elementary and Middle School programs to better meet the needs of each age group.

We also have some exciting changes coming to our Middle School programming that we can’t wait to share!

Stay tuned to our page for more updates, important dates, and application information. We are looking forward to another amazing year of learning, fun, and enrichment with our BEACON students!

We are incredibly thankful to the Oklahoma State Department of Education for awarding our Eufaula Public Schools Summer BEACON Program an additional $28,000 in supplemental funding this summer! ☀️📚🚌

These additional funds allowed us to expand opportunities and services for our students and families in meaningful ways. Because of this support, we were able to:

⭐ Add an Elementary Site Coordinator / Family Engagement Specialist to strengthen communication, outreach, scheduling, and recruitment efforts
⭐ Hire Reading and Math Interventionists to provide targeted small group instruction
⭐ Add a full-time bus driver to provide AM and PM transportation routes for students
⭐ Add a full-time janitorial position to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

📊 Program Impact:
✔️ 71 students served through math interventions with an average growth of 13%
✔️ 53 students served through reading interventions with an average growth of 16%
✔️ 47 students received transportation services through 5 bus stops
✔️ Families received daily outreach and engagement support throughout the summer

These resources helped us reach more students, support more families, and create greater opportunities for success. We are proud of the impact our Summer BEACON Program continues to make in Eufaula, Oklahoma! 💙💛

Ms. Rippy’s Kindergarten class had so much fun during their final week of summer creating cute arts and crafts! 🎨✂️✨

Our little artists spent the week exploring creativity, imagination, and hands-on fun while making special keepsakes to wrap up an amazing summer together. 💛

We are so proud of all their hard work and creativity this summer—what a wonderful way to end the season!

Ms. Currier’s class had a SWEET time making s’mores using homemade solar ovens! ☀️🔥🍫 Students learned about science and solar energy while creating a delicious treat.

A huge shout out to Mamma Tigs Pizza for donating the pizza boxes that made this project a success! We appreciate your support of our students and programs! ❤️
