✨💙💛 Homecoming at Shoreview Elementary was a SUCCESS! 💛💙✨

We had such an amazing time celebrating with our students! From the outfits to the smiles, everyone looked absolutely AMAZING! 😍✨ The energy was everything, and seeing our students dressed up, having fun, and making memories made it all worthwhile! 🥰🎉

🦋 Be a Butterfly, Not a Bully! 💛💙

We’re watching kindness take flight at Shoreview! 🦋✨ In recognition of Bullying Awareness Month, our Panthers learned the difference between bullying, conflict, and unkind choices, explored the power of their words, and discovered how to use their wings to stand up for others! Through interactive activities and meaningful conversations, we reminded our students that kindness is a choice, inclusion matters, and everyone has the power to make a difference!

On Monday, Shoreview kicked off Bullying Prevention Month with a school-wide assembly! Our students learned about recognizing bullying, choosing kindness, including others, speaking up, and getting help from a trusted adult.

Our Issue 5 Levy Information Series continues with a look at how past funding decisions shaped the district’s current financial outlook.

In 2021, Ohio adopted the bipartisan Fair School Funding Plan, with funding phased in over several years. Counting on the state’s share, the Euclid Board of Education chose not to renew a separate $5.2 million levy in 2022.

The funding provided through the 2025 state budget fell short of what was committed. Without additional revenue, district projections show expenses exceeding revenue by 10% next year.

This timeline provides context for why Euclid City Schools is seeking new operating revenue through Issue 5, the proposed 6.75-mill continuing operating levy on the November 3 ballot.
