Mini Miracles Learning Academy believes that every child deserves to grow, learn, and thrive in an environment filled with safety, love, stability, and care. Domestic violence can impact the entire family, including our youngest children.
This month, we stand in support of survivors and families while raising awareness about the importance of creating safe and nurturing environments for every child.
As an early childhood community, we can make a difference by leading with compassion, supporting families without judgment, and reminding one another that healthy homes help build healthy beginnings. 💜

🔥 Fire Prevention Week | October 4–10, 2026 🔥

Mini Miracles Learning Academy is shining a light on Fire Prevention Week and the importance of teaching children safe habits from an early age!

This year’s theme, “Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower!”, focuses on staying safe when using phones, tablets, toys, and other rechargeable devices.

Throughout the week, we encourage families to make fire safety part of the conversation at home. Simple, everyday safety habits can make a BIG difference and help protect the entire family.

Together, we can help our children develop smart safety habits that protect them at school, at home, and wherever they go.

💙 Kindness Starts Little! 💙

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and at Mini Miracles Learning Academy, we believe it’s never too early to teach children the power of kindness, friendship, and inclusion.

In early childhood, we can help little learners build positive relationships by teaching them to:

~Use kind words
~Share and take turns
~Include others in play
~Recognize and express their feelings
~Celebrate what makes each friend special
~Ask an adult for help when something doesn’t feel right

The lessons we teach today help shape the caring, confident, and compassionate children of tomorrow.

Today, we celebrate the grandparents and grand-friends who play such a special role in the lives of our children. From sharing wisdom and family traditions to giving the best hugs, cheering from the sidelines, and simply being there, grandparents help create memories and connections that children carry with them for a lifetime.

We are especially grateful for the amazing grandparents who walk through the doors of Mini Miracles Learning Academy, whether you’re helping with drop-off and pick-up, attending special events, or supporting your little learner every step of the way.

At Mini Miracles Learning Academy, keeping our little ones safe is always a priority. This month is a great reminder for families and caregivers to review everyday safety practices, especially safe sleep and choking prevention.

💤 Safe Sleep Tip: Always place babies on their backs to sleep on a firm, flat sleep surface. Keep the sleep space free of pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, and other soft items.

🍎 Choking Prevention Tip: Always supervise babies and young children while they eat. Cut foods into age-appropriate pieces and keep small objects that could become choking hazards safely out of reach.

A few simple precautions can make a BIG difference in keeping our littlest miracles safe. 💛

🚨 September is National Preparedness Month!

Keeping children safe starts with being prepared! National Preparedness Month is a great opportunity for families to create a plan, practice important safety steps, and help children learn what to do if an emergency happens.

🏠 A few ways families can prepare together:
• Create a simple family emergency plan
• Practice how to safely exit your home
• Teach children their full name and a parent or guardian’s name
• Keep emergency contacts in an easy-to-find place
• Prepare an emergency kit with water, snacks, flashlights, medications, and other essentials
• Talk about emergencies in a calm, age-appropriate way

Family Tip: Practice your emergency plan together! When children know what to expect and what to do, they can feel more confident and prepared.
