🧹💙 Happy Custodian Day to our AMAZING custodians, Smurf & Cassie! 💙🧹

Our building simply wouldn’t be the same without these two!

💙 Smurf is truly one of the family! You can find her reading books with staff members, popping up in the halls, checking on everyone, and always ready to jump in at a moment’s notice. She brings so much warmth, laughter, and love to our school every single day. We’re so lucky to have her!

✨ Cassie works her magic overnight, getting our building back into tip-top shape and ready for a brand-new day. But she’s not just keeping things clean—she’s having a little fun along the way! 😜 If you’ve been around Ms. Simmons’ room, you may have noticed Skelly making his daily rounds. Cassie has made it her mission to move Skelly around the room so our kids can find him in a new spot each day! 😂💀

Today, our students took some time to write cards to Smurf and Cassie to show their appreciation for all the things they do behind the scenes to keep our building going. It was so sweet to see our kids recognize that there is so much work that happens behind the scenes to make our school a welcoming, clean, and happy place every day. 💙

From the big things to the little things, you both do SO much for our school family.

Celebrate the season at the Euclid FFA Fall Market on Thursday, October 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Memorial Options Center parking lot, 22800 Fox Avenue!

Shop for pumpkins perfect for carving jack-o-lanterns or decorating for fall, along with garlic, soap, and eggs. New this year, visitors are also invited to interact with our livestock, adding some farmyard fun to their market visit!

💛💙 We are so grateful for all of the amazing dads, uncles, grandfathers, and 'big cousins' who joined us this morning for our Father’s Walk! 💙💛

Thank you for taking the time to walk our halls, see our building, and get a glimpse into what your student’s school day looks like. Having you here and involved means so much to our students and our school community!

Due to the Severe Thunderstorm Warning and Tornado Warning issued by the National Weather Service, Open House activities at Euclid High School, Memorial Options Center, and the Early Learning Village are ending immediately.

Anyone currently inside our buildings has been advised to remain inside and take shelter until conditions are safe.

If you have not yet arrived at one of our Open Houses, please do not travel to the building. Your safety is our priority.

Please stay weather-aware, follow guidance from local emergency officials, and most importantly, please be safe.

🍕👩‍🍳 Learning Life Skills in the Kitchen! 👨‍🍳🍕

The JTC Juniors are getting hands-on experience in the kitchen! Today, students are learning important kitchen skills, including how to safely and properly use knives, follow directions, prepare ingredients, and cook a meal from start to finish.

And what better way to practice those skills than by making homemade pizza! 🍕❤️

From prepping ingredients to creating their own pizzas, our juniors are building confidence, teamwork, responsibility, and real-world skills they can use for years to come.

Nothing beats learning by doing—especially when you get to eat the results! 😋🍕
