Etna Families and Friends,
As many of you know, I will be heading to the SVMS next year, and I wanted to let you know how much I have loved working with your amazing kids at Etna Elementary these last few years! I am so grateful for the many things I learned, but the best thing that I will take with me is getting to experience how awesome Etna Kids are! The best part of my days were the fun conversations we were able to have in the hallways, sometimes at lunch, or out at recess. From getting to hear about which ducks are best suited for life in star valley, or how much air they caught jumping their dirt bikes, or which AC/DC song their dad shared with them over the weekend that they liked the best, they really are amazing kids! Thank you for welcoming me into your community and the support you have given our school. It's been a privilege and an honor to be your principal, and I can't wait to see them all when they come to 7th grade!
I want to thank all of the amazing staff that I have been blessed to work with as well, they are truly some of the finest people on the planet. To the maintenance staff, custodians, teachers, aides and paras, kitchen staff, healthcare staff, ed psych and counselors, our PTO and parent volunteers, and anyone else that has put effort into making Etna Elementary a great school, I salute you! Etna Elementary is in great hands!
It's been an amazing journey, I will miss you all.
