Celebrating Excellence: Our Fort Jones Elementary School Earns State PBIS Gold Awards Two Years in a Row!

We are thrilled to announce that Fort Jones Elementary has achieved the prestigious Gold Level State Recognition from the California PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Coalition for the second consecutive year!

This back-to-back honor highlights our schools' exceptional commitment to creating safe, supportive, and positive learning environments. The Gold Implementation Award is only given to schools that meet rigorous state standards, including high scores on the Tiered Fidelity Inventory, excellent classroom walkthrough results, and proven academic and behavioral growth for our students.

This achievement is a direct result of the hard work of our dedicated teachers, staff, students, and families. By focusing on proactive support, clear expectations, and data-driven decisions, we continue to build a school culture where every student can thrive.

☀️💦 Pool Day Fun for Our Mustangs! 🐴💙

It was a HOT one today, but thankfully our Mustangs had the perfect way to cool off — POOL DAY! 🏊‍♀️💦😎

Our students spent the day swimming, splashing, laughing, and making some great memories together. And, of course, all that swimming worked up an appetite! 🍽️ A huge THANK YOU to our wonderful Kitchen Staff for preparing a delicious lunch for everyone to enjoy! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make today possible. Days like this take a team, and we know our kids absolutely loved every minute of it!

❤️🐴 FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 2026.2027 = DONE! 🐴❤️

What a great first day back at Etna Elementary! Our Mustangs filled the halls with smiles, excitement, and lots of energy today.

It was wonderful to see familiar faces, welcome new students, and kick off another year together. We are so excited for all the learning, laughter, friendships, and memories ahead.
