It might not have been the first week of school that we were expecting, but thank you to every student, family, staff member, and neighbor who kept us going through a little bit of chaos!

Our WMHS students started their day today with a pep rally, and the class of 2027 sang their first Alma Mater as seniors.

Here’s hoping for a very normal second week of school. 🤞

Yesterday, we officially celebrated the beginning of a new school year with our 2026 convocation! Our SWL team was treated to performances from the Marching Warriors, a string ensemble of WMHS orchestra students, and a convocation choir made up of elementary through high school students.

With a centering message of “Rooted in Excellence, Ready for the Future,” attendees heard updates from district leadership and celebrated recognitions for years of service… including two team members receiving their 35 year awards!

We appreciate Broadview Golf Course, Healthy Heights, Jersey Mike’s, Local Cantina, Porter’s Coffee House, Puerto Vallarta, Real Church, The Swingspot, WM Band Boosters, WMS AG Program, Whit’s, Wood Street Sports, and Ziggy’s for their generous donation of door prizes!
