Good Morning,

Our first PTA and SIC meetings will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. The meeting will be virtual, and we will post the link to join next week. We are looking for new members to join our team! PTA and SIC members receive the benefits of assisting at school functions, being the voice for parents and other school stakeholders, and working alongside our school family to help improve our school's overall success.

We have a wonderful set of officers in position, but those positions are up for re-election, and nominations are needed. They can serve again, but the nomination and voting process must take place. To nominate and vote for PTA, you must be a paid member. The membership is $8. We will send home forms for you to join in making a difference here at EES.

We want to send a huge shout out to Mr. Hawkins for his generosity! We are about to put the Fighting Gators back on the map! Special thanks to our custodian Mr. Gadson for facilitating the process!

Good morning, parents and guardians! We are excited to begin our 2026 and 2027 school year! To ensure that the first day transition is smooth, we would like to create an academic and social environment that is condusive for our scholars.

Established Protocols:

1. When walking students to class, all persons will need to be dressed appropriately. Bonnets, pajamas, or any sleepwear to include bedroom slippers will not be allowed inside the building.

2. Please walk them to their class. Alotted time should not exceed 5 minutes.

3. Car rider parents should enter the campus on the Estill side, refrain from driving on the grass, avoid cutting around other cars, drop students off at one of the colored cones in the drop off area, stay inside your vehicle, allow students to exit on the passenger side of the car, and exit on the Luray side.

4. If the car rider area is empty, pull up to the first cone.

5. If you missed Meet and Greet, we will allow you to enter the main office entry and wait in the waiting area as, the first few days of school is vey busy and causes office congestion.

Another Staff Appreciation Week in the books! Appreciation was shown from

Our staff enjoyed gifts, snack, and meals as a part of the week long celebration. Thank you to all organizations and individuals that poured into our staff this week. We are forever grateful! 🐊🐊🐊

We love all of the HCSD bus drivers and would like to give special thanks to the drivers that our students see everyday! Please show your child's driver how much you appreciate them for safely transporting students to and from home.
