Burkwit Music Recital 2023

We just wrapped up another amazing recital with our wonderful students!

It’s been a whirlwind of a year with the Burkwit instructors expecting a baby coming up in early June and we are just so grateful to work with such amazing and talented students/families who have all been so flexible and caring! It is truly an honor and so much fun to be able to get to know and watch these kiddos grow before our eyes. We are so happy to have another year in the books of growing and learning as musicians. What a beautiful recital filled with so much talent! We especially love seeing the majority of our students returning year and year and sticking with this beautiful art. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your children’s musical development and keep the arts alive and thriving in the world!

We are ready to announce our October Student of the Month, Michael!

From his very first class a few years ago in the middle of the pandemic, I knew he was going to be such a joy to teach! Since day one he shows up to class excited to learn and ready to move ahead and learn new concepts and skills on the piano. His joyful attitude can turn anyone’s day around. One of my favorite things about Michael is how he uses what he learns in class to expand and learn songs on his own and shows me what’s he’s been up to with so much excitement. Music is all about creativity, expanding, and thinking outside of the box and Michael is a perfect example of turning music into his art. I am so excited to continue watching him grow, learn, and expand for years to come! We truly have the best students!

It’s that time again to announce our September Student of the Month, Halle!

From the moment Halle began lessons with me, I knew she was going to flourish as a young pianist. Her talent and ease with the instrument shines through with every class and recital. She is so quick to learn all her music and always excited to learn new and challenging pieces. Besides her musical talent, she always walks into class with a smile and has been such a joy to teach. I’m looking forward to continuing watching her grow as young musician! Thank you Halle for your consistent dedication!

It’s time to announce our June 2022 Student of the month: Bryel!

Bryel was one of my very first and youngest students in the Southwest Florida area after moving from the east coast and has been such a joy to teach ever since!! This year in particular she has blossomed in her dedication and overall piano skills. I was particularly proud that she made the choice to participate in the National Guild Exams and she rocked it! Everything I have challenged her to do, she’s risen to the occasion and that kind of attitude and dedication is what it takes to succeed in learning an instrument. Thank you Bryel for the honor of watching you grow up and become such a talented musician!
