We are having our annual cookie dough fundraiser with Simply Divine Old Fashioned Cookies!! You can choose from tubs of dough that yield about 16 cookies or a bag of mix that yields around 30 cookies! They are $8 each. Please share and feel free to reach out on how to get your hands on these delicious treats! 🍪 Orders and payments are due next Thursday, December 7th.

This week in class we made our very own pumpkin bread with the pre-k class! We made so much, there was enough for each pre-k student to give to a friend in the preschool group. It was so fun to watch the children get and give. Their faces lit up with each interaction. ❤️ Being the week before thanksgiving, we talked about what we were thankful for, which was mostly family and friends of course! We read some silly stories including Fox in Socks by Dr. Suess. Warning: this book will make you dizzy! Then we made our own fox in socks and learned about rhyming words. It was a full, fun, educational week. I hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving break! Red Barn does still have openings if you are considering preschool or pre-k for your little!

At Red Barn, we have a dedicated sensory to play with everyday throughout the year! This month we learned all about our senses. We loved making these potato people, playing with colored noodles, colored and scented sand, beans, and colored rice. We made lavender filled sachets that smelt so yummy! We played a smelling and touching game where we tried to guess what was in the jars without using our eyes. We spend 2 weeks to learn about our senses because there is just so much!

Our fall themed dramatic play! The children love to pretend buy and sell pumpkins, apples, cider, pies, caramel apples, and more at their farm stand. Who knew raking leaves could be so fun?! Believe it or not, your preschoolers can even record inventory at their farm stand! 🎃🍎🥧🍂🍁

Hello! My name is Teacher Tiffany and I am the head teacher here at Red Barn. Let me start off by saying, I absolutely love my job! It has always been my dream to be an early childhood educator. I firmly believe in play-based education which is what Red Barn is all about. I have been studying early childhood education for 15 years. I take multiple continuing education classes throughout the year to benefit my students experience in school. You can always find my nose in a book about early education/development as well! When I’m not teaching, you can find me gardening, crafting, reading, learning piano, and going on adventures with my children! I can’t wait to meet you and your little one!
