ed education? Want to help the Community? Don’t know what to heck do? Are you sick of hearing these headlines yet? You have been Waiting, Watching, and Wishing for Change...Well here it comes...Right on cue...
You will no longer be going to work. Your children will no longer be going to school. No one you know will have to suffer from any chronic diseases ever again unless they choose to. You will never be leaving your community again for any of your primary needs other than to travel, enjoy life, or to visit friends, relatives, and loved ones. How is this possible? It is more than possible. It is going to become the standard. The future starts Right now, and This Is the future. So let it begin! There is a big idea. It’s not my idea. Many of you share this big idea. It’s an idea who’s time has come. There is no avoiding this idea. The past is archaic, corrupt and our old ways are failing. We need to move on, and with today’s technologies and information it is totally possible, totally needed, and totally time to do so! So let’s go! Here comes the age of self reliance and abundance! You are going back to school. Your children are going to work. Every disease known to man is going to become virtually obsolete. We will be healing the earth, the local and global economies - the whole of mankind - all in one basic motion. Jobs are scarce? Who’s fault is this? Who messed up the global economy? Who can we blame for all our troubles? Who cares?! Right now we need solutions, not blame and finger pointing. We need to move forward. Instead of looking for jobs we need to create jobs. Instead of worrying about the economy let’s fix it! We need to get back to work! We also need to get back to community. With today’s digital age, advanced technologies and ease of information availability, and with yesterdays tried and true methods and ideals we can forge forward to a positive future. It starts with you. You must choose to do this. We all must choose to work together to build an infrastructure of self reliance as communities. This will be followed by prosperity as communities. We have to get educated and organized. We have to work together, and share information. The answers and solutions are all within you and I. Within the big idea. What if by attending and/or working at an advanced school which was modeled as a functioning farm / a homestead and a profitable small community marketplace you could change the course of history? You can steer the future in the direction you want it to go! We can and will - so let’s go - let’s: Create Jobs, Ensure Survival, Restore Community Vitality, and Live in Positive Health with Abundance, all the while having fun doing so! What would happen if tomorrow there was a natural or a man made disaster of the scale that made it impossible for the transportation of supplies to our rural community? The things we need - the things we rely on - and many times take for granted are ALWAYS there and they always will be. Right? No. Wrong. In one day without the fresh supplies and transportation trucks stocking our stores and gas stations we will be cleaned out. All shelves will be empty. All gas gone. All money at the bank and ATM will also be gone. What will you do? No gas, No Food, No Money. Where is the back-up? Want FEMA to come “help”? Me either... who needs a disaster followed by a worse disaster. So... Who has a plan? ...... Well let’s make one then. There are enough people living around you and I that know how to - and can learn to - do enough things to help our communities survive almost anything without relying on outside goods and services. We need to get organized. Disaster or not this idea will help our communities survive and thrive. We need to work with what we have, figure out alternatives to the things we need and don’t have sources for locally, and we also need to create an alternative or back-up form of trade / currency (money). Instead of trading debt notes, fiat money, or paper money, we need to start trading positive value for: Real Food. Real Water. Real Work. Real Products. Real Living. Real Health. Real Abundance. The big idea of the future includes: a functioning model of a permaculture farm, a school of life skills for all ages, a research center, a community core, a demonstration site, a health, healing and wellness center, an organic market place. A place where we will all share knowledge of how to use the current best, the alternative, or the newer improved ways of farming, growing, building, constructing, learning, eating, healing and surviving. This idea will spread to multiple sites, to multiple farms, to multiple communities. This is where I want my son to go to school. This is where I want to work. This is what will save our communities - and it has already begun. Join us! There is a lot of division in our current communities. Many groups are doing many different things with little communication, organization, and/or agreeing among these groups. We need leaders, and we need everyone to take part and help! While many of us are struggling to make ends meet, looking for work, or commuting great distances to jobs that have little or no impact on our local community or personal pocketbook what we are losing sight of is this: We can work together to create prosperity! Here. Now. Locally. Minus the commute. Minus the importation of junk from overseas. Minus the negative environmental and health impacts. There are answers out there for all of today’s problems - in addition to answers for all of tomorrow’s problems as well. We just need to remove, recognize, avoid, and/or bypass the stumbling blocks that are preventing us from realizing our true potential. There are proven alternatives to health problems, power supply, and fuel dependency, joblessness, economic / debt issues, and all these endless wars (foreign & domestic). We can move beyond this Right Now. Today. The future starts right now! It’s our choice. We don’t all have to agree on Religious or Spiritual Outlooks, on Political or Personal Freedom Issues, on Race or Gender Opinions, Football Teams, East vs. West, Yoga or Jogging, or even who’s best: Chevy, Ford, Toyota, or Dodge? But! - We do have to respect one another and work together to create a self reliant community that can provide and prosper on it’s own. It's time for us to do this! Your total presence is requested!
