When our clients said they wanted beer on tap in their kitchen, we didn't blink. We just started designing. Into the Brew is what happens when a house actually fits the people living in it: rugged finishes, built-in taps, and a space that takes their hobbies as seriously as they do.

Essex doesn't need fireworks to feel festive this weekend, just a marsh sunset, a line at Woodman's, and the particular happiness of a Cape Ann summer day.

Sometimes the most important design work happens before a property is even purchased.

For this coastal transformation, we worked with the client ahead of their offer to understand the site’s potential, from setbacks and coastal conditions to neighbor's view corridors and expansion opportunities.

Now in concept design, the vision is coming into focus: a home shaped for gathering, recreation, and long days outside, with the Atlantic as the backdrop and Boston on the horizon when the sky is clear.

This phase is about more than planning spaces. It is about defining how a place can support the life imagined there.

On Marblehead Neck, this former sleeping porch was reimagined as a primary bath, giving new purpose to one of the home’s most beautifully situated spaces.

The coast was already there. Our job was to frame it, soften the room around it, and create a place that feels quiet, intentional, and deeply connected to the water.

A good reminder that sometimes the best room in the house is already waiting.

This renovation reimagines a classic ranch as a light-filled, age-in-place retreat. A dedicated yoga studio supports daily wellness, while an expansive kitchen and oversized island create space for gathering, connection, and everyday living.

Thoughtful architecture meets people where they are, and helps them stay where they want to be.
