We are honored to announce that Our Lady of Mount Carmel's annual golf outing will now be known as The Bob Romadka Sr. Golf Outing, in tribute to a man whose dedication, generosity, and love for Mount Carmel helped shape our community for generations.
Earlier this year, Mr. Romadka was presented with the Centennial Pillar Award in recognition of his lifetime of service to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Upon receiving the award, he humbly reflected:
"I guess the good Lord has me for a good reason, and that's to help Mount Carmel."
In March, Mr. Romadka was called home to the Lord. While we mourn his passing, we celebrate a life lived in faithful service and a legacy that continues to strengthen our school and parish community.
By naming this event in his honor, we recognize not only what Mr. Bob gave to Mount Carmel during his lifetime, but also the lasting impact of his generosity, leadership, and unwavering commitment to our mission.
Thank you, Mr. Bob, for answering God's call to serve. Your investment in Our Lady of Mount Carmel continues to bear fruit, and your legacy will live on through the students, families, and community you helped build.
May he rest in the peace of Christ.

As the Class of 2026 gathered for Baccalaureate Mass today, the light of Mount Carmel shine brightly in each of them. We pause to give thanks for the many blessings, memories, friendships, and accomplishments that have shaped their journey at Mount Carmel.
Senior Julian R. shared with his classmates in his reflection during mass, "Looking back, I realize how much I've changed over the years. I've learned the importance of effort, consistency, and staying determined when things get difficult. My time here helped prepare me for the next stage of life, and I'll always appreciate the lessons and experiences that came from being part of Mount Carmel since middle school."
Rooted in faith and guided by Godβs grace, our seniors celebrated this meaningful tradition surrounded by family, faculty, and classmates as they prepare to begin the next chapter of their lives.
We are proud of the leaders, scholars, athletes, and servants they have become, and we pray that they continue to walk confidently in faith wherever God calls them next.
Congratulations, Class of 2026! ππ€π

We are incredibly proud of our students who participated in the Great History Challenge, a prestigious national academic competition where middle schoolers are tested on their knowledge of history.
This year, 16 students qualified for regionals and 7 advanced to nationals in Columbus, Ohio (the top 1% out of over 50,000 nationwide participants). We are proud to announce that Vincent was a finalist in the overall competition, a first for a Mount Carmel student!
Our hearts are full of pride for all of our participants who represented OLMC on a national stage with courage, intelligence and grace!
