The Sussex teachers are excited to welcome our students on Monday, August 28th!

Greetings Sussex families,

On Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, we are hosting a family session to introduce our attendance initiative. In March, we introduced Everyday Counts to our students, some classes won sports equipment. Individual students were celebrated at our breakfast in March and some students received attendance chains in April. Baltimore County Public Schools requires 94% attendance, we believe if we all work together, every student can be at their desk, everyday. Please join us Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm to learn more about our Everyday Counts Initiative.

Good evening, Sussex Families,

We are excited that school is only a few weeks away! We would love welcome all Prekindergarten and Kindergarten families to join us on Monday, August 14th at 5:00pm to learn more about getting ready for Prekindergarten and Kindergarten for the upcoming school year. We will have light refreshments and an opportunity at the end of the meeting for families and students to meet their classmates. Please check the flier for more information and to RSVP.

School begins for students in grades 1-5 on Monday, August 29th. Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students will begin school according to the gradual entry schedule that has been communicated separately.

Si usted entra a Focus con su cuenta de padre o tutor, busque en el menú “Información del estudiante” bajo la columna del nombre del estudiante al lado izquierdo. Media vez haya hecho clic en “información del estudiante”, haga clic en “users” (usiuarios), luego en trasnportation (trasnporte,) alli verá al lado derecho el número de autobús, el nombre de la ruta, descripción de la parada y horario de llegada y de regreso.

Beginning today, August 22, 2022, parents/guardians and students will now see transportation information in FOCUS. To access student transportation information under a parent/guardian sign-on in FOCUS, users should select “Child Info” under the student’s name on left side of the FOCUS window. Once “Child Info” is selected, users should select, “Transportation.” Within “Transportation,” users will see the Bus Number, Bus Route Name, Stop Description, and Stop Time for both the morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) trips.
